The HomePod will be delayed until early next year

The WWDC was the time chosen by Apple to present your new product: the HomePod, a smart speaker with a spectacular design that would offer the user the possibility of enjoying the sound from another perspective. The integration with proprietary technologies such as Siri or the detection of the place of the room in which it is located are some of the characteristics of this new product.

Apple has confirmed to several US media that the HomePod will be delayed and released in early December, that is, it will not meet the scheduled date during WWDC. This product was to be marketed in December of this year but the engineers of the Big Apple need a little more time for everything to be perfect.

An incredible product that does not meet the deadlines: the HomePod

The news is in the words of Apple that ensure that they need time to finish the HomePod project and offer a quality product with the best guarantees. These are the words we are talking about:

We are excited that people will be able to test the HomePod, but we need a little more time before it is ready for consumers. It will arrive in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia in early 2018

The expected date for the commercialization of the HomePod was set in December of this year but it is seen that they have had problems with the project so the device will see the light at the beginning of 2018. Some analysts believe that it will take time to see the HomePod, that is, Apple will delay the sale of the device again, others hope to have it before the first week of February 2018.

The technology that incorporates the HomePod inside is worthy of admiration: seven speakers that allow to obtain a sound of 360º. According to Apple, these speakers are capable of detecting its position within the room and modulate the sound produced to improve it and make the user better enjoy the content they are accessing.

HomePod is smart enough to detect where in the room it's placed

In addition, the HomePod has six microphones to detect our voice from anywhere with which we can invoke Siri and perform the same actions as with our iDevice. This integration will allow the opening of the ecosystem to one more new product, as when Apple introduced Siri in macOS.
