You may ever have tried send a video through MMS or iMessage and you couldn't. Most likely, the problem was that the maximum size allowed was exceeded when sending videos in messages that Apple has set to three and a half minutes. If we want to send a recording that exceeds that time, it will give us an error and say that it has not been possible to send it to the recipient.
More than a failure or limitation, it is a measure to avoid exhausting our data rates. If we have a plan with unlimited browsing, no problem, but many people have a maximum of MB from which the connection speed is reduced or even charged. If when sending a video we choose a very long one, it may be that more than one user will get a surprise on their bill.
If we are one of those who have an unlimited data rate or want torescind the maximum duration when sending a video, there are a couple of tweaks in Cydia that will fix this problem.
The first one is called Carrier Unlimited Media Send to be able to insert long videos into an MMS. If we prefer to use iMessage, we will have to download the utility iMessage Unlimited Media Send.
Both tweaks start working as soon as they are installed so you do not have to configure anything. If we want to go back to having the original limitation imposed by Apple, we just have to uninstall them and everything will be as before.
