Now the new PS5 controller, the DualSense is fully compatible with your iPhone and iPad so we show you how to connect it. This adds the latest Sony PlayStation controller to the list of Bluetooth controllers compatible with different versions of iOS for several years. How to connect DualSense with your iPhone / iPad
- Make sure that your PlayStation 5 and your DualSense controller are turned off so as not to make an automatic connection.
- Simultaneously press the Share button (upper left) and PS button (lower center) for approximately three to five seconds.
- When light shines around the DualSense controller touchpad it means it is in 'pairing' mode.
- Now head over to Settings> Bluetooth and find the DualSense remote
- Press and it will connect automatically
These are the simple steps that will allow you to connect your PS5 DualSense controller, but in passing we remind you that you can customize controls of your DualSense with the iPhone or iPad in a simple way:
- Make sure to connect your selected controller via Bluetooth first
- Now go to the application Settings from your iPhone or iPad and navigate to the section General
- Once inside, you will find a functionality that is "control" or "game controller" depending on the language assigned to the iPhone.
- Sign in Customization inside the section and activates the function. Now you will be able to make the changes that you deem appropriate.
