Two days ago Apple publicly released the final version of iOS 13.5.1 that included news related to security improvements on devices. If we analyze the update well we see that one of the main reasons was Fix the expolit used by the unc0ver team to jailbreak all versions of iOS 13. From the hackers team they assured that iOS 13.5.1 was not compatible with their tool and recommended not to update. However, they have run into another problem: a bug in the latest version of unc0ver automatically update to iOS 13.5.1 even when in the jailbreak settings the option to update automatically is removed. We show you how to solve this problem.
Prevent your iPhone with unc0ver from updating to iOS 13.5.1
unc0ver is a semi-untethered jailbreak, that is, if the device is rebooted, the jailbreak must be performed again. On the other hand, there are the so-called untethered jailbreak in which it is installed on the device and remains even when restarting. Therefore, today, we have two problems: that our iPhone restarts and that we update to the new versions of iOS. The latter is important since they have ensured that iOS 13.5.1 eliminates the vulnerability used to jailbreak.
There's a bug in the latest versions of # unc0ver that causes the jailbreak to operate with the opposite of the user preference for disabling auto updates. You should turn off that option and re-jailbreak now to prevent your device from auto-updating to 13.5.1.

However, the team behind the tool created some settings inside the terminal where to decide disable automatic updates. This way, when the device tries to update to iOS 13.5.1 (or the latest version of iOS), unc0ver will stop it. The problem with all this is that the creator of the tool, p2n20wnd, has ensured that there is a bug around this function in the latest version, Therefore, it is recommended to follow the following steps to avoid unexpected surprises:
- Access the unc0ver settings on the device
- Uncheck the option "Disables Auto Updates"
- Click on "Re-jailbreak"
