One of the main novelties at a functional level that iOS 12 will offer us is found in the limit of use that we can establish in the applications that we create they have us more hooked to the mobile. This function would not be bad at all, as long as the user has enough willpower to follow it.
But what is most striking and what is really more interesting, is the control of the use of applications that we can do other devices that are in the same family, which will allow us not only to know how much time our children use their applications, for example, but will also allow us to limit it.
If it has reached a point where we see that the consumption we make of Instagram, Facebook or Twitter has started to be sickly, or that we simply open the application to pass the time to see if we find any new content, increasing our procrastination, it may be time to establish a daily use limit. Below we show you how we can establish a daily use limit in any application that we have installed on our device.
- First of all we go to the Settings of the system and click on Screen time.
- Then click on All devices. then the application usage statistics will be displayed. To set the limit in one of them, we just have to click on that option.
- Next, a graph will be shown with the hours in which we have used the application. To establish a limit we must go to the section Bounds and click on Add limit.
- Then we set the time limit after which, the application will stop working, click on Add.
From that moment on, once the two hours of daily use have elapsed, the application will stop allowing us to interact with it. Eliminating the limit is as simple as going to Limits, located in the same section, and eliminating it.
