It is common to have the iPhone paired with Bluetooth of the car in order of receive calls. Another of the usual uses and that usually gives problems is the playing music through the car's speaker system.
The usual is that dashboard or steering wheel controls let you pause, play, and skip tracks without having to pick up your iPhone. Unfortunately some users have had problems with these functions thanks to iOS 7.
Either becauses controls don't work or why do they do it with a high delay, there is a solution for this problem.
You just have to follow the following followed:
- Start the application of Settings on the iPhone that gives the problems.
- Access the menu Bluetooth.
- Click on the information button located next to the device that is identified as the car.
- Press on Skip device.
- Tap Skip Device one more time in the pop-up menu to confirm.
- Re-link the iPhone with your car like you did the first time.
After the iPhone has been paired with the car again, the problems would have to go away.
This problem appeared mostly when updating to iOS 7.1 and simply by relinking the iPhone, problem solved. Once in a while delay reappears, But with relinking the devices is resolved the problem quickly.
we hope that Apple bring a permanent fix soon, but in the meantime, it is a useful and simple band-aid.
It's useless, I've tried everything and I don't know what to do. I have a citroen C4 Picasso and with the three iPhones I have had (3GS, 4 and 5s) whenever they call me, it appears on the car screen as a private number, even if the number is on the agenda. I had the problem of the contacts in the agenda. They did not appear with the name on the screen, only the number. My calendar was not syncing. In the end I solved it, adding the contacts that I use the most to the favorites list and synchronizing only that list.
I think if you have a very big agenda, you can't handle it.
