Most of the phone calls that we make daily, when we do not only use messaging applications, are usually relatively short, but sometimes for whatever reason they can be longer than the account, especially if we have to explain something visually Or we have to indicate the steps to follow visually, because through our verbal instructions there is no way for them to understand us.
In those moments, we usually think to hang up the call we are making and make a video call through FaceTime. Fortunately, it is not necessary to hang up the call to start the explanations again, but we can directly transfer the phone call to a FaceTime call without hanging up.
In first we must have FaceTime calls enabled on our device, otherwise the option to make a FaceTime call will not appear available during the call. To do this we must go to the settings of our iPhone and click on FaceTime to check within the menu that the FaceTime tab is enabled.
Second, we must take into account that when the video call by FaceTime starts we will have to make use of the data of our rate, unless we have a Wi-Fi network available in our environment.
Activate a FaceTime call from a phone call
- First of all we have to make the phone call and wait for the interlocutor to answer.
- Once you have answered the call, we will search the iPhone screen the icon representing video calls on the iPhone and we will click on it.
- A few seconds later the video call will be activated between the parties of the same. If we are under a Wi-Fi connection, the transition will be somewhat shorter than if we use our usual data connection.
