What if the iPhone 7 didn't have a dual camera version? [Rumor ... unlikely]

iPhone 7 Pro without dual camera

Of the rumors about the iPhone 7, there are three that appear in almost all the pools: the absence of the headphone port, the same design (with slight improvements) as the iPhone 6s and an advanced camera for the Plus model. Of these three rumors, the only one that seems positive, and I say it seems because the 4.7-inch model would not have this camera, is that of the iPhone 7 Plus dual camera/Pro. With this in mind, what if Apple couldn't launch a device with a dual lens camera?

My answer would be very simple and would come in the form of another question: why would we have to buy an iPhone with the same design as the current one and no headphone port? The closest thing I remember to this was the move from iPhone 4S to iPhone 5, but the iPhone 5 did include, in addition to processor and RAM improvements, a design that for many has been the best iPhone has had since its launch in 2007. If Apple does not launch an iPhone with dual cameras, something would have to be taken out of the hat if they do not want the iPhone 7 to sell much less than the iPhone 6s. The Smart Connector It could add up, but it would also make us spend more money on accessories.

Apple would have given up and wouldn't release an iPhone 7 with dual camera

But let's go in parts. As I have read in different media, the best device "filter" that exists today is OnLeaks. The NoWhereElse editor has leaked various schemas and renders which show that the iPhone 7 Plus will have a much longer camera than the 7-inch iPhone 4.7, which can only mean that the device they represent will have a dual camera.

In addition, the CEO of a company (I do not remember which one exactly) has already advanced that 2016 would be the year in which they would begin to launch devices with two-lens cameras. On the other hand, Sony said in a meeting with his investors that I had lost a very important client and everyone thought that customer was Apple. The reason for having lost those from Cupertino as customers is that Sony would not have arrived in time to deliver its two-lens modules, so Apple would have decided to trust LG Innotek, at least for 2016.

In my opinion, and this is what I express in the headline, this rumor will not come true, although it would not be the first time that we take for granted something that ultimately does not happen. The sources that are supposed to say that Apple has given up trying to launch the iPhone 7 Plus with dual cameras are the same ones that claim that the camera of the 4.7-inch model would have a 21Mpx sensor, so, as a lesser evil (and unlikely) and if they are correct, both devices will include a normal camera that will allow taking photos much larger than those of the iPhone 6s / Plus. How do you see it?

I am a reader of Actualidad iPhone for years, and I don't like at all the editorial style that the blog is taking lately. As a reader and Apple user, I like to see well-written news, even if it is about rumors. One knows perfectly well that sometimes rumors are not reliable, but this seems more and more like a Sálvame DeLuxe than a serious blog about technology with so many opinion articles that are written in a style unbecoming of a serious medium. I enter the blog less and less, and I will end up abandoning it for other alternatives, and it would be a shame, because as I say, I have been entering it for years.

Please go back to being a serious medium, you will attract serious readers and not teenage boys. Or maybe that's what you want.
