More specifically, they have delved into the code of iOS 11 and have found a sound that is not attributed to any function, and after much thought, have come to the conclusion that it could be the sound that the iPhone 8 is going to emit when connected to a wireless charging system ... or not?
It was the Polish YouTuber MAKS + whoever has discounted this sound file within iOS 11 which is supposedly attributed to the folder where the supposed loading sound is stored. However, those of us who have tested iOS 11 know quite well that the charging sound that iOS 11 emits when connected with the Lightning cable is exactly the same that it emits in iOS 10.3.2 and any of its previous or later versions.
The point is that apparently it will be the sound that identifies a wireless charge, basically because the file has been named as "Engage_power.caf", something similar to "Connect_power.caf" with which the current connection sound is named. The truth is that it does not sound crazy at all, since "engage" in English is something like: hook, attract or couple, synonyms that could be used for something like matching the charging system. Anyway, all these are and will continue to be simple assumptions, but that the iPhone 8 will include wireless charging is not something that we are going to doubt at this point (better to Apple?
