The iPhone lives its best times in Spain in recent years

Spain is undoubtedly a country where Apple does not enjoy the market share equivalent to that of other countries such as the United Kingdom, Switzerland or the United States. Not much less, but the reality is that Apple is finding his best time in Spain since the launch of the iPhone 6, scratching a bit of a quota to a territory totally dominated by Android.

This is precisely the country where Huawei is the main brand, dethroning the almighty Samsung, but maintaining the same operating system. Nevertheless, the Cupertino company is literally experiencing one of its best times in Spain since the fall of February this year.

This is how Apple has reached a share of 11,4%, very close to the 12,6% that it presents in a Latin country such as Italy. These are the figures that both countries presented for August 2017, the two countries that most resist the Cupertino company within Europe. All European countries in general have experienced a rise of around 1,2% but all these data continue to contrast greatly with the presence of Google terminals in Spain, so much so that 88,3% of all phones in Spain they run some version of Android.

At least that was the last analysis that Kantar has shared, and that makes us think that although Apple continues to gain a bit of ground in terms of mobile telephony in Spain, it is still far too far from the competition that continues to offer phones between 200 and 300 euros that maintain spectacular results. In short, it seems that the results of the iPhone, somewhat maintained, and the fall in sales of the latest high-end Samsung models makes us think that the fashion for expensive telephony is passing and people rethink their purchases much more.
