iTunes Radio will stop broadcasting at the end of January

Bad, very bad news for all those users who could enjoy iTunes Radio. This Apple radio, which I have come to test with a US account, broadcast high-quality stations based on an artist, song or style with great precision sticking to our request. The bad news is that this service will no longer be free from January 29.

In fact, iTunes Radio will not cease to exist exactly, but will cease to have a free mode with ads to become a function of Apple Music, being only available by subscription. iTunes Radio arrived in the United States in 2013, and since then the service has been free to users in the countries where it has been available. The reason for their merger with Apple Music could be that they intend to make Beats 1 Apple's primary radio station.

As I mentioned earlier, iTunes Radio users, just like Apple Music, could create radio stations based on an artist, style or song. When I first heard such a radio on Apple Music, I noticed that the matches between music styles weren't as good as iTunes Radio, which surprised me because the content should be selected by the same people. Although on the one hand it seems understandable to me that a service that was born before the new project would be discontinued, I believe that Apple should allow non-subscriber users more than Beats stations.
