'If it's not an iPhone, it's not an iPhone', Apple's new campaign

iPhone-6-Plus

Apple's advertising and marketing is incredible. Each video, each advertisement, each recording have been studied by a group of people so that clear information can arrive as long as they follow the line of what they are looking for in each situation: joy, nostalgia ... or else enter their YouTube channel and look at the ads that are uploaded to that space, you will see that it is true. Some days ago Apple posted two new videos to present your new advertising campaign entitled: "If it's not an iPhone, it's not an iPhone", whose purpose is to highlight with a humorous tone what qualities the iPhone has that other terminals do not have.

The tone of voice, the key to the iPhone advertising campaign

If it's not an iPhone, it's not an iPhone

If you have been following Apple for a long time, you will be familiar with the title of this new advertising campaign that is similar to the one used in 2012 in another campaign when the Big Apple launched the iPhone 4: If you don't have an iPhone, you don't have an iPhone.

This new campaign tries to beautify and show the features of the iPhone that stand out from other devices. Yesterday they got on two videos, that start what we have told you before.

90% of people who own an iPhone love it

In the first video called love, Apple tries to show us how many things the smartphone can do so that 90% of the users who own it are in love with it. Throughout the thirty seconds of announcement we can see iPhones doing different tasks both in native applications as in apps downloaded from the App Store, as if it were a carousel of information. One of the most striking elements of this video is the music used and the humorous tone of the voice-over, which is equal to the following ad: Hardware & Software.

This ad is a kind of tongue twister where you work with the terms hardware and software. While trying to make the receiver laugh, they pass on the real Big Apple job: designing both the hardware and the software so that everything works at the same time. Maybe (and just maybe) this announcement is a criticism of Android since Google only designs the software and manufacturers have to adapt the software to the hardware they have.

The software part makes most of the hardware work and the hardware part makes most of the software work
