Apple does not like the Windows logo and creates its own

It seems that lately the relations between Apple and Microsoft are noticeably closer than ever, however, the main reason may be Ballmer's departure from the company, without a doubt, he was a confessed Apple hater, and after his departure the rapprochements between Apple and Microsoft have been continuous. The iPad Pro and the Office suite have collaborated a lot in this relationship. But we already know that Apple is a bit special for its own, it is a company that likes to control everything within its reach. We already knew the case of third-party accessories whose packaging had to be redesigned to be in line with the Apple Store as a requirement from Cupertino. This time it was Apple's website, the Cupertino guys don't like the current Microsoft Windows logo too much, and have adapted it to their style.

Apparently Apple does not like to see the logos of the competition on its website, if we can consider Microsoft Windows as competition, since it is the clear head of computer operating systems, regardless of the personal preferences of each one, the statistics are there. Apple has modified the Windows logo for the company's official website. We can see this peculiar edition of the logo in the section intended to help Microsoft Windows users install iCloud on their operating system.

This "new" image is much more minimalist than we expect, in fact, it is literally a window, pun intended. From here we think that between little and no grace should do to the boys of Redmond that they have used this archaic logo when they will have a whole design team behind to elaborate the Windows logo, which on the other hand, is quite pleasing to the eye, all is said.

They are going to throw stones at me for what I am going to say, but REALLY, with all my heart, I do not mean it badly. But please take care of the wording. To understand the first sentence of the first paragraph well, I had to read it twice. Yes, nowadays it is not considered so important, but at the end of the day this is a blog that many people read. More than anything, because the better you write, the easier you will reach your readers.

I repeat: I say it from the respect.
    A greeting.

You don't say "today," you say "today." Take care of the writing, Pistachio 😉

The article is very superficial, I work in that company and it goes further. If a company uses the logo of the competition or of another company in the same field, it has to pay rights, they do not want to do it here and therefore they design their own logo so as not to pay Microsoft for the use of their logo.

How badly written this is. A person who writes for others should have, at a minimum, Hispanic studies. It's the bad thing about the internet: any youngster with a keyboard thinks that, by pounding the keys, he is already a writer.

Let's see if we can learn to write ... The first sentence is very long and badly written, and the article generally lacks quality. A pity since the idea of writing about this slip in an ironic way is a good one.

I do not know if the article has been edited, or is it that you like to crush the first thing you read, but I see the writing simple and well expressed

Epic the article and not precisely because of the content, I just came to ask if it was ethical to "make your logo"

Well, I have understood it the first time ... or is it that you lack reading comprehension or I do not understand it ...

Greetings and good post as always!

It is not the same to UNVEIL as UNVEIL. At least in Spanish here (Chile, which we speak badly enough) This comment does not refer to the subject in question.
