One of the big problems I have on my iPad it is the visualization of external videos unless they are the format that Apple supports (.mp4); There are different applications that play any type of video, but from within the application. It would be nice if those from Cupertino allowed any type of video to be put on the iPad regardless of the format and reproduce it as it is.
Infuse is one of those applications that allows the display of any type of video regardless of the format (since it supports almost all existing ones). In addition, it is updated in the App Store using AirPlay, video transfer via Wi-Fi, possibility to transfer the video to a television with the adapter HDMI. After the jump we tell you the Infuse main features and all the news of its update.
Infuse: its strengths
- Can play in Full HD
- Supported formats: MKV, MP4, AVI, WMV, M4V, MOV, FLV, OGM, OGV, ASF, 3GP, DVR-MS, WebM and WTV
- Integrated Dolby® Digital Plus (AC3)
- Ability to add subtitles and multiple audio tracks
- Synchronization with trakt.tv
- Download subtitles from OpenSubtitles.org
- Upload Videos to iPad from WebDAV
- IPad 4 Retina display support
Infuse update
As you can see, it is one of the best video player applications that I have seen so far. Its design seems incredible to me and the possibility of adding subtitles as well, as well as the number of formats it plays (even MKV which is the rarest to find). So, Infuse is updated with all these new features:
- AirPlay: Now we can see on our Apple TV or computer what we see in Infuse
- File transfer via Wi-Fi: With a WebDAV and a simple touch we can start enjoying a chapter of our favorite series on the iPad
- TV / HDMI / VGA output: If we have an HDMI / VGA adapter we can send what we see in the application to our television without losing quality, of course.
- Rating with trakt.tv: We value what we see through this page
- Integration with Facebook and Twitter
- Problem solving
- Performance improvements
Do not hesitate to download this magnificent application!

Let's go what others have been doing for a long time and cheaper like VLC Player
As another reader has said, VLC is back, it is free and it reproduces everything there has been and to be. And as for the .mkv format, which the author says is the rarest to find, it is probably the most widespread on the net to host movies in 720p or 1080p. So rare, little.
