Instagram allows you to zoom in on its latest update

Today we are going to talk about updates in the iOS App Store, to whoever has been able to log in, because as our colleague Luis already indicates, all the App Stores are having serious problems with the servers, which are preventing both downloading updates and downloading applications. The most relevant news today in the iOS App Store brings it Instagram, the social network owned by Facebook now allows you to zoom in on photos that users have shared on the social network. A function that many users have been demanding for a long time and was not yet implemented, for what reasons?

Instagram is a booming social network, in fact, and above all after "stealing" Snapchat's idea, does not stop growing at the level of users per day. Meanwhile, Facebook not only rubs its hands with the revenue it produces and the flood of advertising it has, but it also adds new features from time to time that keep its users glued to the social network. In this case the new function is to zoom in on the photos. How many users have not given a "like" inadvertently when what they really wanted was to zoom in to see the photograph in question in detail.

The reason why Instagram didn't allow zooming was pretty obvious. When we upload a photo to Instagram, it loses a lot of quality, it is compressed to unsuspected limits, which lightens the load on the server, but it certainly makes the photo unattractive in terms of resolution. Zooming in on an Instagram photo was to show its shortcomings. However, in this new update it does allow it. The way to zoom is exactly the same as in iOS, not pressing twice, but with two fingers, the famous "pinch-to-zoom". For now, only available in the iOS version.
