Instagram, the popular photographic social network owned by Facebook (yet another application that is actually Facebook, as well as WhatsApp), has launched an application called Boomerang that perfectly mimics the Live-Photos function that Apple announced with the arrival of the iPhone 6s. The reality is that the application is fantastic, it transports the images of the platform to another point much more fun and if users accept this novelty, the "Boomerang" will undoubtedly run like wildfire on Instagram. It will make selfies more entertaining, group photos more fun and above all it brings something different to all devices.
It is a good ax that Instagram has hit Apple, leaving the Live-Photos option at the height of the shoe polish, since these «Boomerang» are likely to be shared both on Instagram and on Facebook and Twitter, therefore, they will reach a level of popularity that Live-Photos will never reach. The only one but that we can put to the application is the usual one the obstinacy of Instagram to irreversibly deteriorate the quality of our photographs, however the data rate will certainly appreciate it. The app is fantastic but it can't be saved on the reel which hurts
This is not really a Live Photo, it is just a 4 second video that gives the appearance of being a GIF. It is saved, published and shared as a video. It would have been interesting if it was a Live Photo and that in Instagram we should press and hold the photo to reproduce it. But I imagine that it would be a copy and it would start the problems between Facebook and Apple.
