Yesterday and for the next few days, it is being integrated into user profiles a new redesign of the Explore section and also group video calls, that will allow users not to depend on other services such as FaceTime or WhatsApp to perform them.
We can now make video calls with Instagram
It was a function that was expected soon but we did not know the official date on which it would be activated. It was definitely yesterday when Instagram introduced group video calls for the entire community through a post on your blog and on your account on the social network.
Video calls are perfect for groups. You can do them with up to four people at the same time. If you have a user to call, the icon will turn blue. Just tap on it and enjoy. You can make video calls with your friends as long as you want. When you want to finish it, just tap on the red button at the bottom.
If you access Instagram Direct by sliding your screen to the left and enter a user's profile, you will see that in the upper right you have a new icon: A video camera. If you click on it, you will make a call waiting for the contact to answer. However, if the user is on Instagram, the icon will turn blue and we can start the call more easily, since the user will be notified more easily.
In addition, a Redesign of the Explore section, organized by different sections: for you, videogames, humor, culture ... so that we can access certain content just by accessing Explora. Additionally, the profile icons (tagged, grid, or timeline) have also been redesigned. These changes should appear gradually in the profiles of all users in the coming days.
