Instagram will allow us to retouch the color and gradient of our photos

instagram color and gradient

Good news for "Instagramers": the application is preparing to receive new editing tools. The social network Instagram has announced that it will add two options that we can use when editing our photos: color and gradient.

At the moment we have 19 filters and the possibility of retouching the size and position of the image, the brightness, contrast, heat, saturation, highlights and shadows; and in the next few days an option will be added that will allow us highlight a color from our photo. You can choose between yellow, orange, pink, red, purple, blue, turquoise or green. The gradient option will allow us to soften the colors of the image.

From Instagram they have announced that the two new editing tools will be available in the coming days for the official iPhone and iPad app, while Android users have already started to enjoy them.

In recent months, Instagram has joined forces to introduce dozens of options in photo editing. Last december five new filters were released. The option to highlight a color has been something highly demanded by users and those responsible for Instagram have finally listened to the community.

Color and Gradient will not appear as new editing tools in different sections, but we will have to click on the "Settings" option to be able to tweak these two parameters. Instagram has shown us on its official blog what these two editing tools look like.
