Intel joins the fight, wants to beat Apple Silicon like Qualcomm

A year ago Apple surprised by announcing the arrival of Apple Silicon, the first ARM processor designed by the company. The Intel era was over and Apple knows how to mount its own processors in its Mac computers. A processor with a lot of future: it was coming to the iMac and even the latest iPad Pro, something that the processor manufacturers obviously did not like. Qualcomm and warned that they are not afraid of Apple since they will get better processors and now it is Intel the one that announces a new technology and rebrand to beat Apple.

The interesting thing about it is how processor manufacturers are announcing that they want to develop better technologies with those of Apple, announcements that in the end mean the acceptance that Apple is at this moment above its own processors. According to Intel, hope to regain its leadership in 2025 thanks to new technologies that will be launched during these four years, and all of them based on silicon processors like Apple Silicon. All due to the growth of Apple in this field and the rise of TSMC and Samsung who have produced processors superior to those of Intel.

Intel even plans to change the nomenclature of their processors avoiding using features of their size, so we will have in the future Intel 7 processor for instance. And is that the loss of value of Intel is to worry. A few days ago the signature Strategy Analytics noted that Apple dominates the application processor market with a 59% share, in front of 14% Intel or 10% Qualcomm. Movements that, as we always say, will benefit users. It is good to see how manufacturers put the batteries and do not settle before a privileged position. We will notify you as soon as we have news ...
