That Apple is working on an Amazon Echo-style device is no longer news. This new device has been rumored for months that could see the light of day next year and that it would allow us to control all the smart devices in our house (lights, curtains, blinds, appliances). But the latest rumors that Bloomberg told us yesterday include something even more ambitious and that could really revolutionize how to control our smartphone. The "Invisible Hand" project includes the possibility of using Siri to control all the functions of our mobile without having to touch it, and it takes three years to complete.
Siri was launched in 2011, and after the initial revolution, Apple's virtual assistant underwent little evolution in the following years, so much so that even the competition was ahead of it with its alternatives. The launch of the Apple TV a year ago with Siri integrated last year was the beginning of a new acceleration in the development of the assistant that could culminate with the absolute control of all our iPhone and iPad without having to use our hands. Share a web page with a friend, print a photo or send an attachment in an email without having to touch our iPhone nor opening any application can be a reality in three years if the Apple project goes ahead.
Before that, Apple's "Amazon Echo" would arrive, a project that is already well developed and is said to be being tested at home by some engineers. Started two years ago according to people close to the project, This speaker-assistant would be Apple's latest new hardware release since it introduced the Apple Watch in 2014.. The new device could be presented in the spring of next year with its launch in the first half of the year although there is no reliable data on the latter.
