iOS 11.0.3 still a long way from improving battery problems on iPhone

If iOS consumption 11.1 Beta 2 literally gives fear, the reality is that the latest version official, iOS 11.0.3 is also not offering results much more hopeful. Apple first got involved in solving various problems such as keyboard LAG and various software glitches. on the iPhone 7 y iPhone 6s.

We have already tested on iOS depth 11.0.3 y almost all users agree that the battery performance is far from what is expected from the third version already of an operating system. It is traditional sure what something is not going too well in the department Cupertino Software Development Department.

And it is that the battery consumption in devices like the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 7, or rather excess consumption, are problems that remain perennial in any of the official released versions of iOS 11.0.x and worst of all, are present with almost more accentuation in the second beta of iOS 11.1, up tal point that has been practically made imposible of using en a device not dedicated to development, something that inside the logic being a beta version, it is not very normal having note that it's actually an optimization from iOS 11.0.3 and that hardly adds functionalities beyond Spin of the multitasking gesture for the 3D Touch (which should never have be gone).

Be that as it may, many kept a small hope to improve consumption with iOS 10.0.3, but nothing else far from reality. More worrying if possible is neglect by some developers such as Facebook Inc, and it is that applications like WhatsApp and Instagram are capable in just a few moments of squandering the vast majority of our battery practically Without us realizing. Beyond of data consumption which they have and that is very high also we have a battery consumption very important. Unfortunately the only real solution is to wait for Apple to consider it.

There is also the option for the bravest (not including myself) to change brands. Unfortunately what we defend so much (fanboys like me), the blessed "ecosystem" is what ties us to a definitive solution. I still do not have the courage to change, but there is no patience that lasts 100 years.

You are very right Álvaro. For my part, I don't like android at all. There are only 2 predominant operating systems on the market, you don't have much to choose from. For that reason I am tied to iOS.

Change brand ??? The solution is very easy, DO NOT UPDATE, it's that simple. If you have something that works, why do you update? What a mania, it is always the same, the day of the groundhog of the updates and the rock goes and keeps updating and complaining and so the cycle continues! Tired ...

Well, what do you want me to tell you? The battery lasts the same as with ios 10.3.3
the only one that drank the battery for me was the ios 11 beta 1 and 2.
    ios 11, 11.0.1, 11.0.2 and 11.0.3 last identical to ios 10.3.3
Those of you who say that you drink the battery without doing anything seriously, I insist, CHECK IT: with xcode you can see if there is any error from the ios below that is causing the cpu not to "sleep" when it is without touching the mobile.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 11.0.3 and I eat the battery in relation to iOS 10.3.3.
They could sign 10.3.3 again for all of us who are doing badly with iOS 11

I solved my iOS 11 battery drain problems by restoring the phone from iTunes and NOT via OTA, just as I had done to update to 11.0.2. Now I stay in this because I don't want the same thing to happen to me again since the consumption was horrible. Unacceptable. I followed the advice they gave me in support and it was fixed. Both on my iPhone 6 Plus and that of my partner iPhone 6S Plus. I hope it helps you too. Nothing is further than to save a backup in iTunes, Restore to iOS 11.XX and put a backup copy again.

iOS 10.3.3 is currently signed and you can downgrade right now.

Oh lord what a cross. Since iOS 7, all versions x.0.x (7.0, 7.0.1, 8.0.1, 9.0 etc) have come out bad. Then the x.1.x comes out and the problems are over.

Don't be such agonies of life.

By the way, I updated to 11.0.1 knowing what could happen, with an iPhone 6s, and not a problem. The only thing the animations that sometimes backfire, but except for everything else, drums and such, everything perfect.

They are not signing that I know of. On the Web ipsw.me it does not appear as signed

I have an iPhone 6 with 11.0.2 and I am also affected by the performance loss from 10.3.3.

I have wanted to restore 10.3.3 but it is not possible since the IPSW is no longer signed by Apple.

I think like many Apple users: it is unacceptable that this happens ... I consider moving to Android

      Confirmed, it is signed: https://ipsw.me/#!/version

Since I have iOS 11, the system / battery performance has plummeted, the iphone locks from time to time and the battery sucks it, apart from the percentage going down two by two when it feels like it.

Disappointed with Apple, I already put my IPhone 7 up for sale to buy myself a Samsung S8.

I recently updated my iphone 6 to ios 11 and the battery consumption was much higher using the device normally, but it seems that Apple is interested in selling its new iPhones than in addressing the battery consumption complaints in iOS 11.0.3

About 20 days ago I left my SE to jump to 7, and with all this, the experience with my new terminal has been disastrous, so much so that it makes me even miss my old phone. Unfortunately, you will have to keep waiting and above all, carry a portable charger even when you go to run errands.

disappointing apple..not only have they mutilated the iphone 6 plus and those of the 1 gb series..which above no longer sign the ios 10.0.3 ... which are really the ones that work on these devices ... how can they think that a system designed and developed for devices with 2gb can work on devices with less memory capacity .. in my case, I have 2 terminals, 6 plus .. and I have been updating as ios 11 came out .. September 9 was the first ... after less than a week they already downloaded another ... that already made me suspect that something was wrong ... indeed we are already on ios 11.0.3 and in my case ... I can hardly use the 2 iphones 6 plus, which we have in my house ... the screen sticks, they get hot ... it consumes a lot of battery ... end ... a terminal, which was Apple's flagship, the one that bet on 5,5-inch screens ... a model that we could be proud to have .. They have turned it into a paperweight ... and the most outrageous thing is that they do not let you return to the ios, which is really the one that f unciona on these devices ... we just have to wait if they get a lighter update or we will have to buy another device, since currently they can no longer be used with so many bugs ... .. go to android or spend 800 euros on the iphone 8 ... ... apple is the one in charge .. and now it has sold to all its clients with 1 gb terminals… ..all for the money
