Apple has just released a sixth Beta for iOS 11.2, the next update that will soon be available to all iPhone and iPad users with compatible devices. This Beta 6 is available simultaneously for developers and for registered users in the Public Beta program, and contrary to what happened with Beta 5, which at least in the iPhone X occupied only a few megabytes, this Beta 6 is 2,2GB in size indicating that it is probable that the definitive version is to fall.
At the moment we do not appreciate changes compared to the previous Betas, although we continue to test this new version on our devices. iOS 11.2 includes a handful of improvements and new features, in addition to continue looking for a performance improvement and greater autonomy especially for older devices, which were seriously affected by the release of iOS 11. The list of changes in iOS 11.2 is shown below.
- The new static wallpapers of the new iPhones are included in all models
- New animated screen mockups exclusively for iPhone X
- There are signs of AirPlay 2, the new wireless data transmission protocol that will debut soon, perhaps with the launch of the HomePod.

- Apple Pay Cash in beta (US only)
- New options for subscription applications
- Information on the behavior of the buttons to activate and deactivate WiFi and Bluetooth from the Control Center
- New indicator for the Control Center from the lock screen
- Fast wireless charging with 7,5W chargers for iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X
It is still pending when Messages will appear in iCloud, an option that Apple announced at WWDC and that for now we are still waiting. Any other news that we find we will tell you promptly.
