iOS 11.3 beta 4 does not improve battery or system performance

We continue to thoroughly test the latest versions of iOSHow could it be otherwise, iOS 11.3 is very present in our agenda, and since yesterday at 19:00 p.m. Spanish time we have the fourth version of its beta to give you our impressions about its performance.

Far from what we can imagine in such an advanced instance of a future update, iOS 11.3 beta 4 does not offer any battery performance improvements or general system optimization for older devices. Tell us about your experience with this beta phase of iOS and what are your results by putting it to the test.

As I told you yesterday, it does not seem that the final version of iOS 11.3 is close to anything, quite the opposite in fact, so it is reaffirmed that Apple did not intend to lie in the least in the launch of this firmware. However, with this fourth beta The optimization and autonomy problems that devices such as the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 were presenting do not seem solved, whose drainage is notoriously superior to the latest official version, and even to the first two betas of iOS 11.3. It seems that Apple still does not give the key in terms of battery consumption, and it is that native applications such as Safari are not helping at all in terms of results.

Meanwhile, other sectors such as the fluidity of the keyboard in messaging applications already seem a basket case. For example, iOS 11.3 beta 4 is consuming approximately 10% of the battery overnight in which the low power mode is activated. This is a very poor result considering what iOS has us (or had us) used to. Another application clearly defenestrated by the Apple development team is the Notes application, with a performance far from the usual even in terminals of the highest range like the iPhone 8. Something is not going well in the Apple development team, and worse is that they do not seem to know.
