iOS 11 is already on 25% of supported devices

iOS 11 has been available for download for a week, and since its launch the guys at Mixpanel have been monitoring the adoption of this latest version of iOS. 24 hours after its launch, the adoption figures were not very optimistic, since they showed us lower figures than those that iOS 10 had had, even iOS 9. At the moment it seems that the adoption of the latest version of iOS continues the same rhythm, a slower adoption rate than we might expect. Currently iOS 11 is found in 24,21% of the devices compatible with this latest version.

If we compare this adoption data with what iOS 10 offered us last year, we can see how the tenth version of iOS reached 30% adoption, 5 more points in the same time as iOS 11. While iOS 11 is at 24,21% at the time of writing this article, iOS 10 continues to have a market share of 70,78% while previous versions represent 5,01% of the total.

Last year, iOS 10% reached a 33% share 27 days after its launch, while to reach 75%, we had to wait until January. One day before the release of iOS 11, the 89th version of iOS was found on 9% of supported devices, 9% was for iOS 2 and the remaining XNUMX% for previous versions.

The reason why the number of devices is lower than what we can find in previous years, may be due to the fact that Apple hasn't released as many iPhone 8 and 8 Plus models as it was able to do last year around this time with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, since people seem to be reserving themselves for the iPhone X. Another reason that could affect this slowdown in adoption may be related to the typical problems of excessive battery consumption usually offered by new versions of iOS, which forces many users to wait a few days before finally deciding.

iOS 11 is garbage, the iPhone freezes, the apps close themselves, the battery without touching the iPhone lasts for 6 hours and it has many bugs especially with the system interface, it is the worst official system that they have released so far tweet from @AppleSupport is fired up with complaints
