Yesterday's keynote, Apple presented us with all the news that will come from the hand of iOS in the month of September, but of course I cannot point by point to announce some changes that can become a problem for many users, as is the case of the native integration with Twitter, Facebook, Video and Flickr services, an integration that has completely disappeared, at least in this first beta of iOS 11We do not know if it will later implement it again, but everything indicates that it will not be possible to share in these services directly without using the provider's application.
As confirmed by Apple through one of its spokesmen, Apple has removed social media accounts in iOS 11 settings, in such a way that it will force us to have to install the application, although it is likely that the users of these services already had it installed, to be able to share their publications, photos, videos and others on these media.
Twitter was the first social network to be integrated natively in 2011. Just a year later, Facebook did it, in 2012 while Vimeo and Flickr did it in later editions. Until now, iOS allowed us to configure our accounts in these services to quickly share in these services without having to use the extension that developers began to offer shortly after.
As confirmed by The Verge, one of the WWDC sessions held during these days will show developers how to fill in passwords automatically in applications that require it, confirming that Apple wants to go far beyond social networks. It is also likely that Apple will not stop receiving requests for other services to integrate and has decided to root out the problem, or all or none.
Although it is true that all of them have disappeared, I have noticed something a little strange. On my 6th generation iPod touch, there is a bigger gap between the previous section, and the next section. It is as if they all wanted to leave, but something is wrong and the system does not ours.
Greetings 😛
