iOS 12.1 now available to all users

As scheduled, the Cupertino-based company just launched the final version of iOS 12.1, a version that, being one of those considered great, offers us a large number of new features. This version, which arrives after five betas, is already available to all users with a device that is compatible with iOS 12, which by the way, are the same as with iOS 11.

To download the update and be among the first to enjoy all the news, you just have to go to the Settings, click on General and then on Software update. Depending on the device where you are going to install it, the size of the update will be different, so you must make sure you have enough space on your device.

Live depth of field

Thanks to this new feature, we can modify the live bokeh effect before taking a picture. To do this, we just have to click on the f, located in the upper left corner of the screen, to adjust the blur to our needs.

Group calls

This is one of the novelties that most attracted attention during the presentation of iOS 12 at the last conference for developers held last June and that allows us establish video calls with up to 32 members.

Dual SIM support

Dual SIM support has always been one of the demands of Apple users who have to interact with two devices at the same time on a daily basis. Except in China, where the terminals will work with two physical SIMs, in the rest of the countries, the second SIM is eSIM type, like the one we can find in the Apple Watch Series 4.

New emoji

If you are lovers of emoji, with iOS 12.1 you can enjoy the new emoji that have been added, thus expanding the number of options to customize our appearance.
