iOS 13 Beta 2 brings us the new High-Key Mono mode and light settings to portraits

New High-Key Mono mode and light settings for iOS 13 portraits

Yesterday we were talking about the launch of the Second Beta of iOS 13, a second beta only for developers It is not advisable to install due to all the problems that we can find with the different uses that we give our device in our day to day. But you know how much we like to mess with betas ...

And today we bring you one of the novelties of iOS 13 that we can already test in this second beta that Apple has launched: the new High-Key Mono and portrait mode lighting settings. After the jump we tell you all the details of these news for the portrait mode of our iPhone.

They already announced it in the inaugural WWDC keynote, with iOS 13 comes many new features for the Camera and Photos app. And yes, in this second beta of iOS 13 comes the mode High-Key Mono, or High-Key Mono Light. A new portrait mode that will make the background of your portrait is turned white and the person portrayed is seen in black and white, or rather grayscale.

With iOS 13, you can make Portrait Lighting adjustments directly from the Camera app to virtually bring the light closer to accentuate the eyes or brighten and soften facial features, or zoom out for a subtle and refined effect. The new High-Key Mono effect creates a beautiful monochrome effect in photos taken in Portrait mode.

In addition, as you can see in the image that heads this post, in this new iOS 13 Beta 2 we have a new icon at the top right of the Camera app with which we can operate lighting settings as if "moving" the spotlights that illuminate the face of the subject portrayed. As we have already told you, we will continue to be very attentive to any news that the successive beta versions that we will see this summer may continue to bring us with a view to the launch of the final version of iOS 13.
