iOS 13 hides elements in Find My that would confirm the arrival of the Apple Tag

The keynote from a few weeks ago was a bit decaffeinated for many users who were expecting something more. Rumors had pointed to the launch of a new device that consisted of an element tracker that has been dubbed the Apple Tag, but finally Tim Cook did not reveal any news of this new product. However, after the release of iOS 13 hidden elements have appeared behind the code that would point to the existence of the Apple Tag, a device with the internal code B389. These images filtered by MacRumors are totally true, although the final design of the Find My app after the launch of the tracker may change substantially.

The Apple Tag is more and more real, now we see its interface in iOS 13

The filtered images are owned by hidden items in the final version of iOS 13, in the Find My app, which we use to find lost devices, our friends, and apparently elements to which we have added the Apple Tag. This last category does not appear in the version of iOS 13 that you may have on your device since it is hidden to launch it when the product has reached the market with an update. However, the guys at MacRumors have accessed that content and we can see what the app's interface will look like when the trackable product goes live.

The design is very simple. One more tab is added at the bottom of the Find My app that they have called "Elements", added to "People" and "Devices". In the new tab, Apple encourages us to "keep the location of all our items throughout the day" and presumes that if they are tagged with the B389 device (the so-called Apple Tag), we will never lose it.

The hidden code of iOS 13 also hints at how the Apple Tag will work. Once attached to an item, it will sound when we move away from it and "let's leave it to ourselves." However, we can mark some rooms as safe locations to avoid that if we go without it, it does not sound, such as our house or our room. If we drift away and we are not in a safe location, the Apple Tag will start to sound loudly to help find it. If we can't find it, we can mark the item as lost. That will mean that if someone finds the device, they have the contact information directly so that they can contact the owner, who will receive a notification when someone picks it up.

The augmented reality. What it seems that we could see the room in which we are through the cameras of our devices and after a short period of time they will come out some red and orange balloons in the location of the room where the item that we have lost and that has the Apple Tag attached is located.
