Apple has launched a new iOS 14 update for new iPhone 12 models, solving some bugs detected with the current versions, such as the iPhone 12 mini lock screen failure, or problems with the Messages application.
iOS 14.2.1 is now available to download from your device settings. It is an update that comes to solve problems with the new iPhone models, in fact it is not available for other devices, iPhone 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max only. The problems they solve are related to the messages application, specifically the disappearance of messages within groups, which should be fixed in this new version. Also the problem of the lock screen of some iPhone 12 mini, which many users have suffered, should disappear after this update. These users complained of unresponsiveness when trying to unlock the iPhone or when trying to open the camera or flashlight from the lock screen. Apple finally adds the solution to problems with sound quality when using hearing devices connected to the iPhone.
The update can now be downloaded from your own device, you only need to be connected to a WiFi network and enter the terminal settings. Within General> Updates this new version should appear, which you can download and install in a few minutes. Apple was testing a second Beta of iOS 14.3, so it is not expected that there will be other intermediate versions unless some other error is detected that must be solved urgently.
