So in Android, the normal thing is to lose up to 50% of the capacity of those 8Gb of internal storage and if the phone is only 4Gb (there was only one 4Gb iPhone and it lasted very little for sale: the original iPhone that was marketed at the beginning with 4 and 8 Gb of space), then almost all capacity is lost.
