IOS vs Android experience: two very different systems for very different users

iPhone 5 vs. LG G2

It's been quite a few days since I decided try Android for a few days on the LG G2 terminal and although I have already returned to my iPhone 5, I convey the conclusions that I drew as promised.

I could make a very long post but I will try to summarize it as much as possible. The problem is that there are so many differences between iOS and Android It is impossible to list them all so I will try to focus on the most important ones.

Fluency

iOS is very fluid but Android is also very fluent. With the move to iOS 7, Apple has lost the immediacy of response and that is just the opposite that has happened to Android in its latest versions. In fluidity they are on par, at least in high-end terminals so the myth that Android "backfires" is over because that no longer happens today.

Okay, in a matter of iOS optimization is unrivaled and is that with "worse" hardware, it is able to stand up to the latest Android terminals equipped with processors with more cores and working frequency. I have noticed this in many Android applications and is that despite the fact that the iPhone 5 has a hardware from a year ago, it is capable of loading many applications in less time than the LG G2 that has the new Snapdragon 800.

This is a clear sign that while the operating systems seem to be optimized (iOS 7 already has a 64-bit version for the iPhone 5s), the applications are not so and in the end hardware is wasted. Despite all this, the differences are very small and I do not think that anyone opts for or against either of the two systems due to the loading times of the apps.

Customization

Custom Android

Android is the system of the customization and versatility. In the same way, the Android notification center kicks the iOS one a thousand times, but in the rest of the sections we also find a wide range of options that allow us to make our smartphone a terminal more according to our taste or needs.

iOS is how Apple wants and that's it. The customization options are minimal and very limited for the time in which we are. If what Apple offers is enough, perfect but on Android the possibilities are enormous. Even the smallest detail can be modified and although many options we may never use, it does not hurt that they are there. Personally, I prefer that and being able to use them in the future to not having these options directly.

App Store

App Store vs Google Play

In this section I also have biased opinions. While I prefer the organization and aesthetics of Google Play, I keep the application catalog from the App Store.

It's funny how the same application seems to be a lot better developed for iOS than for Android. The interface is usually more careful, they are less invasive (especially the free ones) and in performance they are also usually lower compared to its namesake on iOS. It is clear that there are others that are a carbon copy and the differences are non-existent but in my tests I have had that feeling. It's as if Android apps were a port of those of iOS.

Updates and customizations

iOS 7.0.2

Nexus, that's the word that ends two big problems that Android has today: carrier and company updates and customizations.

It is a pity that there are so many intermediaries so that an Android terminal can be updated to the latest version. That doesn't happen on iOS, what's more, we recently heard the news that iOS 7 is already installed on more than 72% of devices. If you want to make sure you always have the latest version of Android, you have to bet on a device from the Nexus range.

Battery

I include this section because many of you have asked me about it but this is something that depends exclusively on the terminal in question. In the case of the LG G2, we are talking about a 5,2-inch terminal and that makes it large, so large that it allows a larger capacity battery to be inserted inside it that has come to me exceed 48 hours of autonomy smoothly.

This duration is unthinkable on the iPhone but if one day Apple decides to increase the size of the screen, it will be able to dock a higher capacity battery and, therefore, the autonomy of the smartphone will improve.

Conclusions

iphones (Copy)

Having covered the main topics well above, I summarize the proof in that neither iOS is that good nor Android is that badWhat's more, I think they are operating systems designed to very different users.

While iOS is very easy to use and has a simplicity that helps its performance and fluidity be very good even with the passage of time, Android is much more customizable but I think it requires a few more advanced knowledge to prevent the fluidity of the system from being impaired. On the other hand, iOS can be too simple if we compare it with Android. It all depends on our needs and our user profile.

Really there is a much bigger background and it is difficult to summarize in words. For this, the best thing is to be able to repeat an experience like the one I have done and so each one draws their own conclusions.

I personally opt for the iPhone because iOS 7 I think is a great renovation but I have to admit that Android today is a very good system operational. What I do hope is that Apple increases the screen size of its terminal in the next generation, something that is undoubtedly appreciated once you get used to larger diagonal screens.

If you want to know something very specific, ask me in the comments and I will answer you with pleasure.

More information - I park my iPhone 5 for a few days and make the leap to Android. Will it be worth it?

I share your opinions after using a Nexus 4 for 10 days. I was leaving an Iphone 5 and I already have the iPhone 5S.

However, after the first hours of surprise by the screen and by the fluidity I had a regular taste with the usability. Specifically, I was missing a Spotlight (search engine), ordering the contacts in WhatsApp by last name (In CONTACTS if I could order it) and a simple configuration from Android itself and not downloading specific apps. I like that the operating systems are complete with all the functions that you will need and not have to go to third-party solutions.

Many times to turn on the screen I accidentally turned the volume - and took a picture of the screen.

The photo gallery was a bit disconcerting, folders of all kinds were created, especially if you are a google user. Photos appear that you have saved in various places.

Unfortunately I could not test the Nexus 4 with an iOS 7 installed. (Iphone 6?)

I was like you, I was in denial of leaving iOS. once I did, I realized that Android is much better in many things and what better than to jump to a Galaxy S4 Google Edition.

Your verdict seems great to me; For example, I was an Android user, but seeing the issue of the famous fragmentation (my Cel was gingerbread while Android is now 4.3), it made me switch to iOS; Personally, my iOS fascinates me I have an iPhone 4 and that cell will be about 2 years old I think and I just updated it iOS 7, while my android is still in that outdated version of 2.3 ... On the issue of android fluency every year it loses speed, for For example, my cell is a samsumg mini and the first months it flew instead now to load a web takes 1 min, while iOS 7 loads it fast and I do not lose fluency or user experience

Regarding the store that you develop, the al store vetoes apps that may be viruses, but Google play does not ...

That is, if I have a nexus 7 for a tablet and in that field I can say that Google has excelled, of course it is a nexus range and every time they release an update it will stay up to date, it could be said that both the Nexus 7 can compete almost face to face with Apple iPads

In conclusion, for smartphones, I prefer iPhone for its user experience that is not "tampered with" by the cell company and for its fluidity. And for tablet I prefer the nexus 7 unless Apple surprises me tomorrow with its new iPad.

Friend the new PlayStore if you have a lot of malicious apps. Be careful! I have to be under scrutiny to avoid downloading malware.

      1.    hector fernandez said

aha, you just had to see that the PlayStore these days prior to the departure of BBM had more than 50 fake BBM apps and all of them with viruses, which even BBM caught their attention.

If your android goes for that version it is because you have not been interested in updating it on your own, which you can easily do.
In Android being open source, you have infinite options to install the OS as you please, removing or putting the applications you want, WE ARE NOT BOUND TO THE DESIGN OF A BRAND.

Agree on almost everything and I can add stability iOS is much more stable than android, with the latter I suffer crashes, reboots and other minor but annoying random crashes.

Over time (months) android becomes slow and messy, folders with strange names inside more folders with strange names that lead to temporary or garbage of all kinds and remnants of uninstalled applications. iOS is always neat and fluid like the first day.

    Viruses, malware, adware
Fake apps and other weird bugs that abound on Google play, forcing the user to install anti virus, which from that moment on is one more burden for the system. iOS is always clean and without the need for anti virus.

I have used the 2 systems for years due to work and for my android it is a mustang tunnig that depending on the owner can be even picturesque, you have power with which to go and come at full speed always being careful in the curves and with the maintenance of the machine to avoid crashing on the road.

    iOS is a Porsche.

    Hello Nacho,

Thank you very much for your report, I am sure it will be of great help for the decisions in the immediate future of many users.

Personally, I think I will test an Android with a larger screen this year, waiting for the iPhone 6 to come out with a 5 ”screen.

You who have tried the LG G2 wanted to ask you what you thought as a terminal, since it is the one that attracts me the most in terms of hardware and screen, but the design of the terminal and the LG software throws me back. So my question is to try with the HTC ONE which is the closest thing to iPhone on Android that I have seen or to pull for a better terminal at the level of specifications such as the LG G2. Since the Nexus 5 I discard it because it does not have a release date and I am afraid that the stock will be even worse than that of the iPhone 5S.

Do you have any advice on this?

Thank you very much and thank you very much for the report!

    1.    Nacho said

I can only tell you about the G2 because I haven't tried the One. The truth is that I really liked the terminal, a bit slippery due to its shiny plastic casing but otherwise a magnificent terminal, both in hardware and software. The LG add-ons are quite good and have improved over the Optimus G.

Anyway, buying an Android terminal thinking of acquiring "the closest thing to an iPhone" is a mistake. If you buy an Android, buy because you want an Android but not with the mindset that it will look like the iPhone because you will be disappointed.

      regards!

I am a user of the iPhone and iOS since the iPhone 1 in 2007, however I always try some of the high-end Android terminals, the last one the Samsung Galaxy IV and far above the HTC One (by the way, in global valuation without I doubt it, I prefer the HTC ONe and not the Galaxy IV) my particular opinion is that the IOS is more stable than Android, nothing customizable and I agree that in general the same apps are better on iOS although some are better on Android (very few but if any), I think that Android and iOS some time ago were a thousand light years away, and that Android has really put the batteries in and today, except for stability and security, where iOS still wins, the rest are there, there.

There is something that I think is decisive when buying one and the other and that is that depending on the Andoid terminal you use it can leave a very different feeling, an example is that for example the HTC one when opening applications is much faster that the galaxy IV, the touch is quite different from each other, for example the Sony Experia Z disappointed me a lot, that is…. Depending on the terminal you use, it can leave you a flavor or a different one (I always speak of high-end terminals.

In short, I prefer the iOS, by habit of use, by synchronization and some other things, but BEWARE, the big difference between the two systems has almost completely vanished. By the way, I like the new things that iOS 7 incorporates, but personally I do not like the new interface at all, it seems flat, simple, and ugly, in fact I have not updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7 why not I like nothing.

  8.   aarancon said

What you have written… «It's funny how the same application seems to be much better developed for iOS than for Android. The interface is usually more careful
… ». It is so, of course. However, as a result of the appearance of iOS 7, it will gradually cease to be like that.

You say that the interface of the app's for iOS is much more careful, of course, because in their interfaces they used shading, borders, etc, etc. As you well know with iOS 7, all those elements that effectively made the interface of the iOS app's, and the iOS itself, were much more attractive than those of Android, they will gradually disappear to be replaced by the interface of iOS 7, that is to say , flat design, no shadows and nothing. In fact, we can already see some examples of it (iPhoto scares me very much, but especially Garajeband, although seeing what the icons have been I fear the worst). In short, iOS apps are much more attractive than Android ones, but they are so because of their interface and this will unfortunately disappear over time thanks to the new iOS.

How you break the balls with ios7 brother. Learn to adapt to change. All ios 7 was designed by ive who is the one who designs everything in apple and you think you are an expert in graphical interfaces when nobody knows you.

      1.    aarancon said

I don't have to adapt to anything, brother. And I'll keep hitting the balls, as you say, with the slop of iOS 7 exactly what I want, bro.

By the way, I've been an industrial designer (and a very good one) not a graphic designer, that's why iOS 7 is a real slop at the design level. Search in Google the opinion of experts in graphic design on iOS 7, you will see that they do it well.

Jobs? Jobs would not even have allowed this grotesque to come to light. That's why they had to fire Forstall, to erase any trace of Jobs that might still exist in the company. Let's not forget that Fortall was Jobs's right hand man. And between Forstall and Ive the working relationship was a disaster.

If Forstall was fired over the map issue, someone should have been struck down by the 5s accelerometer issue, right? It seems that a software failure that is corrected with the minga is cause for dismissal, but a manufacturing defect that possibly entails the physical replacement of terminals (with the economic amount that it supposes), is not. Come on man!!!

Hello, my stay in Vodafone fulfills me and I am a user of an iPhone 4G 16Gb and to say that I am in love with it, it has never caused problems, if it is true that ios is very little customizable and very limited in some things, why not talk about itunes or put a personalized ringtone ... in short, many things that it has to my liking, negative, but you end up getting used to it and you can see the quality of the phone and how elegant Apple is.

After my experience with the 4 now, which, as I have said, makes me permanent and I want to renew, I am between 2 great rivals.
    -Iphone 5 16Gb
    -Htc One

The iPhone is more of the same but with an enviable quality and performance, it never hangs (like the 4 that I have) very elegant aesthetics and if I can this time I will stay with IOS 6, which aesthetically I love since I installed the 7 on my iphone 4 and apart from being ugly and simple the phone has slowed me down a bit.

The HTC is a piece of phone, and I handled it since my brother-in-law has it and it is amazing, the quality of the image and sound and how fluid the phone is, in addition to how we are talking about the customization that Android has improved a lot, I have Android on my tablets and I have updated several times and each time it is more renewed and with more options.

In short, I accept opinions of all kinds, if it makes me sad if I left IOS because it has a lot of quality in its products and the phone is more stable in terms of viruses and others.

    IPHONE 5 VS HTC ONE

I await your response, greetings and thanks

    1.    Juanka said

Android since its launch has always been customizable. HTC ONE is an excellent Smartphone! But as the author of this post says very well, you need certain advanced knowledge to maintain its fluency, while with the iPhone you do not need advanced knowledge! Very easy and fast! If you want to see real power, try the ((iPhone 5S))! It takes the iPhone 5 around! If you buy on iPhone 5C is to buy 5, it is not worth it. iPhone 5S is the true innovation!

Since I see that you have Android Tablet's, you will have no problem keeping Android fluent!

      1.    How said

But what are you telling me !!!!!!!! You have no idea what you are talking about… ..XDD. What do you have to have more knowledge in android ?????? Where did you get that from ????? You need the knowledge if you want to change the rom of your terminal, but leaving the one that comes standard, you have no problem playing whatever you want …… and please, there are thousands of comparisons between the iphone and the android, and just as I told you that at the beginning of android, apple gave soups with waves to the android, but right now ... Any high-end android sweeps the iphone 5s without being overly complicated.
That if apple is more EXCLUSIVE, but that does not mean that it is better.

    2.    Pol Brbs said

HTC ONE without a doubt. In a high-end android terminal, you will not have any problem and you will not be left behind compared to 5s, you may even go ahead.
You only need to know what you put in the phone, what use you are going to give it, and do a minimum maintenance

    3.    John Peter Carmona said

We are both the same hahahaha I have been with a mobile phone for three years and this Christmas I finished my stay with vodafone. I would like to go to ios with the 5s, but I don't see the point of spending a fortune on that phone. For me in android I highlight sony xperiz z1, but I am in love with the hrt one since it was released, and even more with the htc one max which is a great revolution.
I hope for this Christmas to be able to get the 5s for some cheaper plug, if not I will think very seriously what to do.

I vote for the htc one, and if it can be the max, then better.

  11.   anthonyquevedo said

Completely in accordance with your comparison and of course (final choice) =) beyond what we know that iOS is made for the general public (who does not want to be messing around) and Android more for the "Geek" public, the evolution of iOS in terms of including more functions and customizations is precisely due to the evolution of Android.
    Very good review.

It should be noted that to enjoy the most fluid version of android they must obtain by high-end and last generation telephones at present, not even an S3 can update normal to 4.2 apart from 4.2 k slows down the system quite said by many media and users of android, and many verified that with 4.3 they returned to have more fluency, but the problem d android is that it fragments, as you use it it gets heavy, you have to be resorting to tools to clear cache, clean junk files, viruses, it hangs and there k turn it off the wrong way, it frizzes to run the app ... regarding customization, you can use APP ICONS in IOS; and PIMP your Screen! My iphone I have changed the appearance without the need for jailbreak, as I see the options of ios 7 beats that apple will open a theme section in the app store very soon .. and about the autonomy well said for the size but 48 hours I do not think that last for the use that I give to the iphone! Apart from that it depends on the area and operator you use, temperature, etc. I achieve 24 hours of normal use with iPhone 4s and I have 21% left at the end of the day, if I use games. No way! It will not last me at all on the subject of the screen I hope Apple will make 2 terminals next year one of 4.3 maximum and the other of the size that is higher, I would stay with the 4.3 maximum, so far 4 inches is super good for a phone , the only advantage of increasing size is to make the screen full HD ... to finish Android is so ugly that by obligation they must allow it to be customized because otherwise users would have nightmares. and as RIC android said it needs to have a good owner so that it is well taken care of and works to the fullest! otherwise he becomes a maco

That of writing "I have seen in various media" "say several users." Let's stop Android stuff is just one step down and it's almost nothing. A few months ago I got a htc one and it does not have the problems you mention and that it was updated from Android 4.1.2 then to 4.2 and now to 4.3. I still have my iPhone 4s but I have kept it that yes… with a lot of love and I will wait for the iPhone 6 which should have a bigger screen and a better battery.

Now I am testing a note 3 since I wanted to do the same and try android and the truth is that it is surprising me, I have been with it for about 8 days and the surprise is pleasant, the touch is very comfortable, the screen is a pass and what to say about the battery …… .. That if I imagine that I will end up returning to Apple from one moment to another, but in the meantime I will try this to see how it is, that if I hope that Apple enlarges the screen hehehehehehehe.

I got lost first, you say that the myth of blinking on Android no longer exists and almost at the end you say that the user needs to have more advanced knowledge so that the fluency of Android is not affected. Believe me when I wrote in other Post of other news here and I spoke of the blinking in Android I said it with my own knowledge testing the high-end smartphones with Android. The other problem is in the PlayStore which is a potential malware network.

Of course, if you stay with a Galaxy S4 example for a while you get so used to blinking that the mind makes one see that it is normal and it happens as if you had not seen it. But as soon as an iPhone falls into your hands, you automatically realize it. What's more, when I had the iPhone 5S in my hands, I was embarrassed to see how it crushed my iPad2 with its fluidity. They both have iOS7. I hope that the new Android Kitkat operating system that is just around the corner, improves all those problems that I mentioned before and I want to see it installed on the Nexus 7! 🙂

Very good article nacho, the truth is that you are one of the few who knows how to differentiate the virtues of the competition and point out what Apple's defects are and what it should correct to continue No. 1. It is true that iOS is much more stable than Android over time, but how many phones and tablets in the world have it installed and work at a much lower price? the issue of fluency is more than overcome and as against this the issue of fragmentation because it is the only thing that pulls me back from android, not being able to enjoy the latest system updates because of the manufacturers. Finally, taking into account the battery life and the slightly larger screens that they are mounting, I would not hesitate to try some of these smartphones in the future if Apple does not change a little in the next iPhone 6

  16.   Siro said

I do not agree with "the organization of Google play" Google play sucks, if you go looking for a specific application, you will see a thousand fake applications from anyone who wants to upload an application. And in terms of performance, android may be fluid in the first days, but when you fill it with applications forget about that fluidity, I think you should try a little more android to give a summary like that.

    1.    Guardian said

Apple does not lose fluency? Or is it that you don't install almost any applications? because without going any further, my iphone 4s has been reset 2 times since I have it, how slow it had become ... you have to be objective

iOS must have at least 1GB of free space to always allow the system to function properly. The same thing happened to me as well (I never thought of restoring) I only thought of removing some music, which is what my device has the most. And as if by magic things were solved and the device was just as fast as the first day.

    2.    How said

My friend, I have a s2 petado of apps, music, videos, etc ... ... and I can assure you that it goes much more fluid than the 4s that a work compi has, which has told me that the next one will be android

Nothing new under the sun, your conclusions are similar to those I have after trying, yes, various models of iphone and Androids. I have stayed with apple because it just WORKS as it should (most of the time), playing with the interface and fully customizing the cell phone is great, but after a while it gets boring doing that and it ALWAYS ends up being slow . I miss the freedom of Android, but I love the simplicity of apple.

I do not understand at this point, why companies do not do what they need, it is clear what people want, so why not give it to them?
A more personalized iPhone, more screen and more battery, if right now those of android had it, they would think twice.
And if android, on the contrary, had a more adequate control with its application store, the updates were more punctual, and the design that I no longer think is needed by some companies, such as htc and lg and some with their flagship whether you like it or not Although be careful as Chinese companies get the batteries with giving a good international service or opening offices in different places, you could see a technology bomb here on both sides.
One thing that I would have highlighted would be apart from the ios or android phone it would have been the customer service, ios you know how it goes but android how you get out of something recognized, if I have seen you I do not remember after having sold it.

Like me, I got bored with the iPhone 4s, little customization, a fairly small screen, without a notification LED, little animation between screens, and when I saw the iPhone 5s it was more of the same! I was simply determined to jump for the Samsung Galaxy S4, and so far I do not regret it, great power in hardware, with this screen my fingers do not get in the way to play FIFA 14, you are not limited in bluetooth connectivity, NFC, etc ... the phone has an infrared, to be able to use it as a universal control, and not only for a single TV model, among many others… .. !!!!

Difficult to refuse the Samsung Galaxy S4 !!!

Your article is very interesting. I liked the conclusion. "IOS is not as customizable as Android, consequently it is easy to use and configure. Android is quite customizable, consequently it can become extremely complicated to use and configure"

Extremely complicated …… .Yes of course, that's why my 4-year-old son handles it as he wants …… THAT COMPLICATED !!!!!

I changed the iPhone 4 for a htc one and I am very happy, it kicks any iPhone in every aspect. The iphone 4 after a while of using it slows down, goes slow, takes a long time to open the apps, it was impossible to take a quick photo because it took a long time to open the camera, etc ... of my ipod 4g we did not even talk, it has gone through ios 4 , 5, 6 and the thing is very slow; it restarts every so often, apps close out of nowhere ... but that's not what apple fanboys are talking about huh. My HTC One has never undergone any restart, it is 100% smooth, the apps do not close; anyway. I have tried the iphone 5 and it is more of the same; like I said, the HTC kicks it a thousand times. I hope they don't bother apple fanboys. Greetings

compares a device with 512 gb of ram with one of almost 2 gb ... obviously there is no comparison

But do not many around here say that the iPhone never slows down or loses fluidity with the passage of time? It seems to me that they are urban legends and like everything with the passage of time it loses its usability ... I don't because they want to sell us the bike that iOS is different from other systems such as android or windows phone

        1.    Luis said

It is not an urban myth, it is true, when iOS slows down (And I say it by my own hand) it is because we fill the device almost to the top and I mean to fill it when it has 300mb or less free) I noticed it and I thought that maybe it would be That, I deleted some music leaving 1Gb extra for the use of the system and as if by magic everything was solved.

          1.    How said

Well, like android, it slows down when you pete it from applications, but those of the android have noticed and increase the ram and space for the system… ..
I do not understand how you can pay so much money for a ferrari with a seat motor ... ... I prefer a renault with a porch motor ... ... that I will get the performance out of it.

If you make a comparison and you come to the same thing that everyone says, it was not very good to say.

You forgot to mention advertising, Android after installing certain applications generates a lot of advertising in the notification center and also installs applications that you do not want, plus it makes you think of an operating system that has apps like AVG antivirus and Adblocker for android, which in iOS does not pass I put stability before customization.

    1.    How said

What happens that the aplle do not have antivirus ??????? That you know that the only operating system for which there is no virus, or well there is almost no virus, is in Linux …… ..what a coincidence, the OS in it which is android based ????
Do not fear the rock with viruses and malware ……. I've been with Android from the beginning and not a single virus problem or anything like that.

Please ios doesn't have the ridiculous java virtual machine that android has. Although it is easy to develop for her it is heavy. Users removed java and moved it to c + and it became much more stable. What happens never compare the iphone with the lg because lg never takes good care of its system I have an optimus 4x and lg updated it remal to 4.1.2 and that's it I don't even look at it anymore. The only android that are worth it are the nexus and the moto x. I tested the moto x and despite being dual core it was faster than my optimal 4x quad core. I was surprised by that motorola. If he came here I assure that I will change it for him.

Very interesting article. I am very indecisive. I recently bought an Xperia Z1 they arrive in a short time. Right now I have an S3, the truth is I feel a bit tired of Android, I like to play games and have many applications. The other day the terminal lageo horribly repeatedly and when I most needed the mobile I ran out of it. I had to reset it and the problem was solved. I have been using Android for 3 years: HTC Desire, Xperia P, S3 and now I bought this Xperia Z1 that has not yet reached me. But I'm thinking of selling it and buying an Iphone 5c. Would it be a good change? A friend used Android and he switched to IOS and he tells me that I will not regret it. By the way I know all the advantages of the Z1 more than all my indecision is for the OS. Thanks in advance for your response Nacho and that of any forero.

My advice, whatever you do with the iphone 5s you will do the same with the z1, even better thanks to its large screen.
What if I tell you is that with the iphone 5s you are not going to take photos of the z1, or record underwater… ..then better features and cheaper… ..White and in the bottle, I say….

Operating systems do not interest me as much as hardware, what I like about Android computers is that: you can customize it as much as you like or can (but it is not mandatory), most of them you can expand the memory with SD cards (although many already they have a lot of storage), you can transfer files with any other device (except apple) or with a computer, for the same reason you can change the music whenever you want and however you want (I hate iTunes), the synchronization has improved a lot (of notes, mail, contacts, etc.), the screen is very durable and in many cases, anti-scratch (gorilla glass), the compatibility with wi fi and bluetooth networks is better, the battery life is very good, I was struck by the comment that the screen A bigger one would allow the iPhone to have a bigger battery ... a bigger screen = a higher battery consumption, so it seems little logical, in short, I had an iPhone 3GS and an iPod touch 4G, my first Android was a Galaxy Ace with which I lasted almost 2 years and now I have a Motorola Razr i, I've been with it for a year and the only thing I envy the iPhone is the camera, because the photos are taken regularly, oh yes, the 1080p video is luxurious in my little phone. I would give the iPhone the opportunity if they allowed to increase the storage capacity, it had a screen that does not scratch so easily (a friend's crashed completely due to a fall) and you do not have to use itunes for everything ... greetings!

Exactly he tells the truth I like android more because of its customization that can be done while the iphone can not do anything and that ios 7 is a copy of android similar to me I do not like iphone at all for itunes and I do not like your cell because it looks something feminine it does not call my attention more htc one nokia lumia sony huawei and other cel

I personally believe that everything in its place, the iPhone is a simple and beautiful simple interface, I believe in my humble opinion that The iPhone is for the common user who does not want to complicate his life who wants a device that is stable and that does not require customization. For someone who only wants functionality and in that the truth is that the iPhone does not disappoint, but for those of us who know a little about technology and love to be different and use a versatile device that adapts to any environment and any situation that comes our way, have everything under count and that the system works for you, adapts to me, be increasingly intelligent and learn from my actions and simplify my life, not to mention that if you are a google user in your applications the synchronization of the app google will be unique and the notifications will be the best you will know everything at the moment and without losing detail of your emails etc etc, I have both devices and I enjoy each one to the fullest, both are excellent each which is diatinto and for different audiences, the terminal depends more on android to obtain a user experience or another although if you have a moto g you will know that it is a low cost terminal that has superior performance as high-end and in iphone you will always have an excellent ardware which due to the optimization of ios does not need so much, in short each one fulfills a use and there is simply not one better than another each one is very good for what it was manufactured and according to the needs it will be our decision that is my humble opinion and respect the others…. greetings…

Very simple, if you have money you buy the best system that is iOS and if you do not have money and you want to find cell phone models that suit your budget, you buy an Android. Of course IOS (I mean Apple) is better than any Android! that with his cell he achieves:
    1.- Not having viruses,
2.- The security that its applications are official, therefore it gives you stability in the system and it is not "freezing" as Android systems do. (And do not be cats that make an excuse that they cost !!, what you pay for the app is very little money and you will always receive the updates of the app and they are for life, remember they are official and virus-free)
3.- It never fails !! read well NEVER IS NEVER.
4.- You will always have the updates, Apple DOES NOT LEAVE YOU !!
5.- Better optimize the cell phone as it is coordinated in general terms by a single company. Being a smaller device, with a small battery, it achieves performances that androids devices would not have in dreams, which require a huge battery and enormous capacities to move your system smoothly.

I could go on and on writing and writing things like that: it is also more beautiful in design, they bring out better apps, better resale value, greater durability of the device, better signal reception for voice calls, better image quality and voice, more stability. in video calls, etc. etc.
CHAFRIODES keep saving so that you can buy the best cell phone and system, which of course is APPLE.

There are many people who go to Apple for the popularity of the brand but without really knowing the benefits it can offer compared to other houses. In my opinion Apple is not better than Android or vice versa. Simply, each operating system is better adapted to certain needs.

I recommend taking a look at this article where you can draw some conclusion on this topic:
