iPadOS 17: Interactive Widgets, Home Screens and Live Activities

 

We continue with WWDC 2023 and iPadOS 17 has just been presented by Craig. Important customization innovations as the main asset of this new iPad operating system: interactive widgets and customizable home screens in the purest iOS 16 style.

Craig has just introduced a feature that has been (VERY) long awaited by iPhone users since Widgets first appeared: Interactive (and Home Screen) Widgets. From iPadOS, we will be able to customize and interact from anywhere with the interactive widgets that the apps themselves present.

In addition, the home screens come to iPadOS 17. In the purest iOS 16 style, we can choose font, background and save several to alternate but with a great novelty. Moving wallpapers return with a SlowMo effect from the photos that are Live.

The customization possibilities that we are going to have with iPadOS are marvelous and that we have been crying out for in recent years.
