That the United States of America is a raft of oil for Apple is something that we are not going to discover to you now, the Cupertino company not only has its headquarters there but also has its main and most faithful market. However, this news does not have less merit, in fact it has more in an era where there are competitors on every corner and especially taking into account the price that the company usually manages. Seven out of ten iPhones sold in the United States during the Christmas season were of the 11 range, a clear example of how strong the company continues.
According to CIRP analysts, the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro accounted for 69% of total iPhone sales. It makes sense if we consider that almost 40% of total sales last year were taken by the iPhone XR (which would be the equivalent of the iPhone 11 in this generation). While the iPhone 11 Pro has taken around 15% of the total sales and the iPhone 11 Pro Max another 15%, we find that the iPhone 11 eats up almost half of the total sales (40% aprx) and the good rhythm that the iPhone XR continues to maintain is surprising with almost 20%.
It also contrasts with the fact that two-thirds of buyers of the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have opted for 256 and 512 GB versions, while users of lower ranges such as the iPhone 11 and iPhone XR tend to opt for the first option ( and cheaper) storage. Also among Apple users themselves we can begin to differentiate between "ranges", as well as confirm that the Cupertino company understood the wisdom of the iPhone XR and wanted to improve it with the launch of the iPhone 11, an absolute success despite the criticism, what do you think of these curious figures?
