New iPhone 7 mockup image suggests it will have a mute switch

iPhone 7 Deep Blue

A few hours ago we published new images of iPhone 7 mockups that, although it is true that they would confirm the leaked design several months ago, it did not provide new information. What we saw was the back of four iPhone 7 mockups, each in one of the colors that the iPhone 6s is available in. After seeing the image included in this post where we see that the iPhone 7 Plus (or Pro) mockup does not have a mute switch, we would have liked to see the left bezel of the device.

The wait to see the left part (if we look at it from the front) of the iPhone 7 mockup has not been long in coming. The same French media (where he writes OnLeaks) has updated the post he wrote this morning by adding two new images. One of the photos that you will see below is perfectly complemented by the one that we published this morning: when we see the left side of the iPhone, we can see that both the volume up and down buttons are present as well as the mute switch how much we like some users.

In part, the image showing the aforementioned switch is interesting because it is not present in the leaked iPhone 7 Plus mockup. Although it is true that we are talking about exhibition models, we can start to think that the 5.5-inch model will not have the switch and will in this sense resemble the latest iPad models.

Commenting a bit on the second photo of the iPhone 7 mockups, the only thing that seems curious to me is that you can see the bottom of an iPhone closer to the camera. It is likely that someone has been holding it in that position to show the Touch ID and to show that it is mechanical, like the one on the iPhone 6s and not like the rumor that claimed that the touch ID it would be tactile and compatible with the 3D Touch. But, once again, we have to remember that we are talking about exhibition mockups. To get out of all doubt we will still have to wait about two months.
