Is this the new Apple logo?

New Apple logo used on the new iPad keynote

Today is Friday and we bring you a curious news about Apple that you may have overlooked. After the presentation keynote of the new iPad, Apple used a logo with a different aesthetic than what we are used to seeing.

If you look at the image that heads the post, you can see, from left to right, the visual evolution that the Apple apple has had over time and yes, the one on the far right is the one used in the keynote of 7 March 2012.

When we turn on our iOS device, the logo that appears is the one immediately before the one shown in the keynote. Will they leave the multicolored logo for presentations or will we see it soon in future versions of iOS?

Personally, if that's the new apple logo I like it a lot but the previous one is sublime and its grayish appearance makes you automatically think of Mac and aluminum, a material for which Apple feels a predilection when making its products.
