On May 16, Apple released iTunes 12.4, a new version of its music player and tool to manage iOS devices (among other things) that included some changes in the interface that tried to make everything more intuitive. On the other hand, security measures were also included to ensure that a problem experienced by some users who saw songs being deleted from their hard drive did not happen again. This morning in Spain, Apple has launched iTunes 12.4.1 to fix various problems.
What's New in iTunes 12.4.1
This update addresses several issues that caused iTunes to not work as intended with VoiceOver. In addition, in this version the "Reset counters" option has been restored and the following problems have been corrected:
- An issue that caused songs added to "Up Next" to be played in the wrong order at the same time.
- A problem that prevented iTunes from chaining songs.
To download iTunes 12.4.1, OS X users just need to go to the Mac App Store, access the "Updates" tab and update. Windows users will have to go to the page apple.com/itunes/download, download the new version and install it.
This new version was released shortly after the new version of iOS 9.3.2 for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro that solved the problem that prevented them from starting the system and ended in Error 56.
