iUFO, new aerial robot controlled with the iPhone

The guys iHelicopters they continue to launch new products on the market for all lovers of "toys" that we can control through the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

This time we are introduced to iUFO, a flying object shaped like a sphere that it is capable of flying in the direction that we tell it from the application created for this purpose. The screen of the iOS device will show the controls necessary to operate this flying robot.

The connection with the iOS device is made through IRDA, for which it is necessary that we connect a small transmitter in the audio jack that is included as standard. The driving range is limited to eight to ten meters maximum for this reason.

The iUFO's internal battery is capable of holding up to ten minutes of flight and the IRDA transmitter will have to be recharged every 120 minutes of use, for this we can use the USB cable included in the package.

IUFO price is $ 59,95 and you can purchase it directly on the iHelicopters website.

It is the same design as a helicopter surrounded by wires, nothing to write home about.
