Much is beginning to be said about the possibility of Jailbreak the Apple Watch. The Apple watch is not yet available to buy in physical stores, but there are already several famous hackers who have recognized that they have an interest in "hacking" the smartwatch to get gutted its new operating system, called Watch OS according to the website of Manzana. Technical problems

Jailbreak is simple, you just have to connect your iPhone to the computer and press a button. Just as simple for the Apple Watch? I doubt it.
Ideally, Cydia should be installed on the Apple Watch as any third-party application does, using the extensions that right now already have applications compatible with the Apple Watch. But this possibility seems very remote, since it is as simple as the Apple Watch rejecting any connection made by an application not officially signed.
Warranty issues
Much has been said about the warranty of the iPhone or iPad when doing Jailbreak. It is something that almost no one worries because it is as simple as connecting it to your computer and restoring it, eliminating any trace of a possible jailbreak and without the possibility that the technical service can detect it. In the worst case, you would have to put the iOS device in DFU mode and restore later. The risks of leaving your iPhone or iPad as a paperweight are very low, extremely low, although not impossible.
However, the Apple Watch does not have that option, unless we know it for now. If by doing Jailbreak we left it blocked, the chances of recovering it would be few. Without a cable that accesses the clock directly, using Bluetooth connectivity it seems very difficult to unlock the device in case of failure. Would anyone dare to leave their € 500 (or more) watch completely unusable? I personally doubt it. Probably with the cable for that hidden diagnostic port, the problem could be solved, but as I said before, doubts that this cable is accessible to everyone suggests that it is not a real possibility for the average user.
Relative utility
Let's assume that all of the above is not really a problem, that we have the cable, that the method exists, and that I take the risk of jailbreaking my watch. What would it really contribute? It would be worth it? This is something very debatable and surely every reader has a thought about it, but in my opinion it is something yet to be demonstrated. We will have to see what appears to really know what value Cydia would add to the Apple Watch. That added value is going to have to be a lot for people to start jailbreaking their expensive watch.
We will always have the iOS Jailbreak
I really think that taking into account that in most cases it will be an "iOS to Watch OS" communication, I do think that the Jailbreak of our iPhone or iPad can add something to the Apple Watch. Surely you can bypass any restriction or make an "alternative" use of any of the APIs that Apple offers to developers. Cydia for iOS will be a place where we can personalize our experience with the Apple Watch, and most of us hope so. Meanwhile, and this again is a personal opinion, the Jailbreak of the Apple Watch will be a utopia.
