The Yalu 10.2 Jailbreak is updated to be compatible with more devices

Jailbreak for iOS 10

A few days ago we published the good news for the entire Jailbreak community that iOS 10.2 was already vulnerable to Yalu, and therefore Cydia could be installed on iPhones and iPads updated to that version, although only a few models were compatible, specifically iPhone SE, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, and iPad Pro. However, Luca Todesco has not forgotten about the rest of his devices and just a couple of days later he has released an update to Yalu 10.2 so that it is compatible with almost all 64-bit devices.. We give you the information below.

Yalu 10.2 Beta 3 can be downloaded from the official page of @qwertyoruiop, which is Luca Todesco's Twitter user and which you can access by clicking on this link. This new version is compatible with all 64-bit devices except the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, as well as the iPad Air 2. We list all supported devices so there are no doubts below:

  • Phone Number 6s Plus,iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE
  • iPad Air, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad Pro
  • iPod Touch 6th Gen

It is still a Beta version as we have indicated, so it is likely that it may still contain some bugs, so if it is always advisable to make a backup before performing Jailbreak, in this case it is almost mandatory. Also remember that it is a semitethered Jailbreak, so when restarting it will be necessary to repeat the process from a certain point, although the advantage is that a computer will not be necessary since it can be done from the device itself. You have a guide on how to Jailbreak with Yalu 10.2 in this link for those of you unfamiliar with the procedure. We do not know if it will be possible to Jailbreak the remaining devices, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus and the iPad Air 2, but we will inform you promptly of any progress that occurs in this regard.

I doubt very much that they are going to put it for iPhone with 32-bit processor. They argue that they are already a minority and not worth the effort.

There is already support for all devices, except the iPhone 7, since the KPP still does not have a bypass but I think that with the Yalu stable in beta7 now Lucas will be dedicated to skipping the KPP and being able to jailbreak for the only device that missing is the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
