LastPass doubles the price of its subscription service

Every time Apple launches a new form of business on the App Store, we must assume that Apple has previously studied it and seen its feasibility among developers and users alike. The new subscription plans that some developers are offering, since Apple introduced that option, they have increased the prices of many applications that they have spent the time and money invested in creating it to this new form of profitability. Before the arrival of this type of subscription, applications such as 1Password had a price of 9,99 euros to buy the application, however, since it has adopted the subscription service, every month users have to pay 3 euros to take advantage of all the functions of this excellent application.

LastPass the alternative available in the App Store and that allows us to store our passwords in a safe place, just announced a price restructuring that it offered for its subscription service, going to have a price of 24 dollars per year, 2 dollars per month, when until now the subscription service only cost 1 dollar each month. In addition, some of the options that were available in the free use plan have been eliminated and are only available in the LastPass Premium and Families version.

As is usual, the price increase has put its users on a war footing, who have expressed their discomfort through Facebook. The company has responded by stating that the price update reflects the investment that the company has made in new functions that allow the application to become the best password manager on the market. Despite the price increase, 1Password has a monthly cost of $ 3, like Dashlane, so it is still cheaper than its more direct rivals.

It never rains to everyone's liking and the issue of subscriptions I do not know how it will end, but as some developers do not control prices a bit, it can get out of hand, sooner rather than later.
