LG presents the LG G5 a modular smartphone

In recent years, much has been said about the Google project that would allow us to personalize our phones by creating them according to what we want to spend, adding more battery, better camera, more memory ... but this project has not yet finished seeing the light. LG has just presented the LG G5 with a similar concept, since it allows us add different add-ons to improve its performance.

The new LG G5 allows us to expand the options of the camera that integrates the device and the speakers that it incorporates with a camera with almost professional features (saving the distances) and choose to add speakers from the B&O firm. To add the different modules, we have to slide the tab on the bottom back of the device.

Once the module is extracted, we can begin to add the LG Friends, as the firm calls it. The LG CAM Plus module turns our device into a professional camera. The LG Hi-Hi Plus module allows us to enjoy the music from our device with the quality offered by Bang & Olufsen (B&O). The idea is not bad, but it is still too green, since these modules greatly increase the size of the device unlike the Google project that I have discussed above.

Regarding the specifications of the device, the LG G5 has a 5,3-inch screen, USB-C connection and fast charging. Inside we find the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor accompanied by 4 GB of RAM that will manage the screen with QualHD resolution. As for the battery, we find that the LG G5 offers us 2.800 mAh, a battery that thanks to the modules we can expand without problems. Regarding the exterior of the device, the front camera is 5 megapixels while the rear (expandable through modules) reaches 16 megapixels. Regarding prices, LG has not announced them at the moment. What we do know is that it will hit the market next June.

I'm amazed that Bang & Olufsen pulls off such crap. I thought they were going to know how to maintain the level. Regarding the rest ... it does not attract my attention. Neither this, nor the S7 ... In the end they seek to create needs for people. Just call, social networks, internet and use of applications. This thing about adding gadgets to the phone ...

R56 Surely you would be the first to applaud if the idea were from Apple.
