iTunes and Apple's Podcasts application are the best places to listen to your podcasts quickly and easily, but not only that, but they are also the main distribution platform of them around the world. Over the years, this has been the main tool to publicize and share new shows, and it seems that this is something that the Californian company is determined to push again to make said platform even more relevant.
The application of Podcasts has been renewed with iOS 11 (as we told you in This Video) and now offers an image more in line with the rest of the system and, above all, with Apple Music, the other application is intended to reproduce audiovisual content. Now not only is it easier to keep up with the latest episodes of your favorite podcast, it will also be easier to have a better experience every time you enter the app. But the changes are not only in the aesthetic section.
During the last day of the WWDC yesterday, Apple gave a talk in which it revealed more things about the near future of the Podcasts application. The changes to come will be intended to make users able to follow your podcasts in a more intuitive way (download complete seasons, follow in chronological order ...) and to provide creators with more tools to select in what way they want the episodes to be shown to the audience and obtain analytical data on them (by seasons, from most recent to most recent). old or vice versa, publish trailers ...).
