Looking for a new provider for the Apple Watch 2

apple-watch2-concept

One of the biggest unknowns arising from the launch of the Apple Watch is the renewal period of the same. As a general rule, traditional watches usually last us longer than any technological product that we buy (if they have a certain quality) so the question is related to when this first version of the company's watch will become obsolete.

For a time, the speculations revolved in a renovation that would be around two years. That is, Apple would launch a new Apple Watch model two years after the previous model went on sale. However, the most recent rumors seem to indicate that this will not be the case in the end, pointed to the end of next year as a possible date for the market launch of the second generation of the werable of those of Cupertino.

For now, Apple seems to be looking for another manufacturer to carry out the construction of this device and that could be your usual Foxconn, Invetec or Eistron. What is unknown, at the moment, is whether it is seeking to completely replace the current Quanta or if it is only complement production with the aim of having a greater number of units in a shorter time.

At the moment everything remains to be revealed about how the next Apple Watch will be, although we all hope to see a much improved product after a first generation that has left us a little "half". For now, it is most likely that we will see a significant increase in the battery of the same and, if we pay attention to the most daring when it comes to speculating, also a camera to make video calls through FaceTime.

Do you know the meaning of obsolete and that because a second watch does not mean that the first is not going to be of any use? I really don't understand people when they say that X product is going to be obsolete when the next one comes out, as far as I know, they don't stop working, and in many cases they are releasing updates to their software some time later ...

You are absolutely right but in this case you are not and you are not because the obsolete adjective in the Aple Watch I do not think is a suitable adjective. In my opinion, this gadget was born with too significant deficiencies, that is, it is not that it will soon become obsolete, but rather that these significant deficiencies have to be overcome. When it was presented I was quickly clear that this first version was not a wise purchase. Actually I think exactly the same of all the Watches on the market (at least the important and best known). It cannot be, I repeat, in my opinion, that at this point in the film a watch, which after all is what The Apple Watch is, will barely last a day, that is, that you have to charge it every night (with the obvious discomfort that this entails); and it is also not acceptable that a watch is not waterproof. I'm not talking about scuba diving, but simply being able to bathe with it in the pool or in the sea without problems.

When these two deficiencies are overcome, it may be a good time to buy, but for now, and in my case, Apple will keep its Watch.

Do not get excited, the watch is like the pippin of years ago, I mean, failure and garbage together

Never buy the first version of a new product…. Never. Let them tell the owners of the original iPad 1, and those of the iPad 2 that today at least have iOS 9
