MEGA's iOS app gets a big update

Many of you will know MEGA, the cloud storage service successor to the late MegaUpload, how could it be less, MEGA has an application for iOS, which although it is not bad, we could say that it is not good enough, however, it has recently received a rather interesting update that increases its possibilities and usefulness on our iOS devices. This cloud service offers us up to 50GB of space for free that we can manage as we want through this application, since its website is not fully compatible with Safari and causes certain problems.

As we have already said, MEGA offers 50GB of storage for free, however we can select the different options of MEGA Pro, increasing storage and bandwidth for either € 9,99 per month or € 99.99 per year. With the latest update the application has renewed its design, and not only that, it has finally brought its full version for iPad as well as different utilities so that we can upload files to MEGA directly from other clouds that we are using on our device.

What's new in the update is as follows:

• Possibility of uploading files from other storage services.
• Download entire folders.
• Add contacts.
• Share folders with contacts.
• Better searches.
• Sort by name, date or size.
• Copy folders.
• Password changes.
• Cancellation and pause of downloads and uploads.
• Open MEGA links from the application.
• Open documents from MEGA.

As you already know, you can download this application for free in the App Store, however, it is a pity that MEGA has been quite forgotten in the panorama of storage clouds, many we had high expectations in this service that has ended up going unnoticed despite allowing 50GB of free storage due to download restrictions and incompatibilities with different browsers.
