Storage services have become a common tool of use for many millions of users, mainly due to the security they offer us when storing our data and always have a backup at hand in addition to access to them from wherever we are.
Google Drive is still the service natively and integrated with other services that offers us more space, 15 GB, but it is not the one that offers us more space for free. If the integration with other services does not matter to us, we can make use of MEGA, orn storage service that offers us up to 50 GB for free.
In order to access all the documents, programs, images or any other document that we have stored in MEGA, the service offers us an application, an application that has just been updated for iOS adding some functions highly demanded by users.
Thanks this update we can quickly consult the space available in our account through the My Account tab. We can also upload files in PDF format from the Safari browser as long as our device is managed by iOS 11. The latest innovation is found in the possibility of opening links from the application's chat messages.
As usual, MEGA has taken advantage of the release of this update to fix minor bugs and incidentally improve application performance. 50 GB go a long way, but we must bear in mind that as long as we do not pay for any of the rates that it offers us, in the desktop version we will always have a limit of 5 GB of data transfer, that is, if we want downloading several files that exceed 5 GB in total, we will have to do it in two phases, separated in time.
