The Kickstarter Pebble project has come up with a tough rival: Meta watch. This wristwatch allows us to directly receive the notifications habitual of our iPhone, like calls, alarms and text messages, on your screen. And not only that, the creators of Meta Watch have already begun to send information to developers to adapt their applications to the wristwatch. In this way, we will be able to receive all kinds of notifications from the mobile on our watch.
The watch communicates with our iPhone via connection Bluetooth and it is configured through an application that we can download from the App Store. Of course, we can customize which notifications we want to receive and which ones we don't. It is available in two colors: black and white.
Meta Watch will go on sale this month for a price of U.S. dollar 199 and it can now be purchased through its official website. But nevertheless Pebble, the watch we saw on the Kickstarter platform, featured a more modern design.

I wonder: If I am going to receive notifications on the watch, what do I do with the iPhone?
Good idea .. But why do you want to receive notifications on the clock? For that I take the iPhone and open it much faster .. Also by bluetooth another thing Esque will get to connect by network and if you leave the iPhone at home and have the watch in hand to see it etc, that if it would be ideal.
Contrary to the two previous opinions, it seems to me an excellent idea, if they have an iPhone it is because they like technology and what better way than to complement it with these excellent gadgets, that is, they do not like Apple TV and the iPad either, supposedly because they have a Iphone.
The fact of having an iPhone does not imply that you like technology, you have to put aside nonsensical fanaticisms, what you are dealing with is NOTIFICATIONS and this gadget would do its job if it were an accessory connected by the network, and not by Bluetooth.
It seems like a brilliant idea to me, just brilliant. Have any of you thought of the typical meeting scenario? You are waiting for an urgent mail, or simply to have a relevant information confirmed via sms. It is not always acceptable to take your mobile out of your pocket every two minutes to see if it has reached you. Another thing is that you only use your mobile to play angry birds ...
The idea is good, but taking into account that currently the iPhone battery is not the most efficient, let's add the additional consumption that it will have when transmitting via bluetooth to a clock just to let you know that an email has arrived.
