Man does not only live on Google Translate, although it must be recognized that it is one of the best works. Microsoft for a few years, also offers us in the form of an application a translator who little by little has gained my trust, I use English on a daily basis in my work, and currently I use it more often than the Google translator.
Microsoft Translator is not only a word or text translator, but it is also an application that allows us to translate any page we visit into other languages, thanks to the extension available through the Safari share menu, making it an indispensable tool when looking for information in languages other than our native language.
The guys from Redmond just released a new app update intended for all those people who plan to go on vacation and they want to make use of the offline translation function that this application offers us, a function that is also available in Google Translate.
What's new in version 3.0.5 of Microsoft Translator
- Ability to disable smudge filter
- New function that allows displaying the detected language in «English (detected)» format and the possibility of changing the language «from» and «to».
- The offline operation allows us to download offline packages of the main supported languages in a simpler way.
- New action buttons in the text so that the user can quickly share or publish translations.
- New animation when responding to user input by voice.
- New function that allows us to report on our experience of using the application, in addition to allowing us to report on existing functions or errors that we find using it.
