Monster Hunter Freedom Unite returns to the App Store and take the opportunity to update

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

It's been quite a while, but Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is back on the App Store and it has been updated to include official support for the latest version of iOS, that is, iOS 9. And the fact is that the iOS version of the game for PSP stopped working in September 2015, when iOS 9 was officially launched shortly after of the presentation of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Almost a year has passed in which fans with iOS 9 have not been able to play this title.

A few months after Monster Hunter Freedom Unite will stop working and right after the launch of Monster Hunter Explore, Capcom updated the Japanese Monster Hunter Freedom Unite website reporting that the game was going to be fixed in spring 2016, but they had to update it again in May saying they were having problems and not they could ensure it would arrive in June. The only thing fans had at the time was a promise, but not a date for the game's return to the App Store.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is now compatible with iOS 9

It is clear that the wait has been long, but it is already over and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite has not followed in the footsteps of Bioshock, a 2K Games game that stopped working after the release of an iOS version and never returned to the App Store.

The game works perfectly and hopefully the same will not happen again with the launch of iOS 10. If so, Capcom would have fixed this title so that fans could play for just two months. In any case, Capcom has most likely learned its lesson and is already testing this and other games with the first beta of iOS 10 (Where is the second ?!).
