After years of waiting Movistar + has finally decided to appear on Apple TV, and users of its streaming platform can now download the application on the Apple device to view its content.
They have been many years of waiting but they have finally concluded. After Movistar announced with great fanfare at the end of May that it would launch its application for Apple TV this summer, the phone company has kept its promise and just released the version for Apple's device, marginalized for a long time, being the only one in which Movistar + content could not yet be viewed. They did not even allow "AirPlay" from an iPhone or iPad, while any "TV Box" with Android could access the payment platform.
The wait is over and you can now view the Movistar + content, although it remains to be seen if there will be no type of restriction on the content available on Apple TV, something that Movistar unfortunately has us quite accustomed to. Sports, series and movies, hopefully everything can finally be seen on our Apple TV. To download the application if you already have it on your iPhone or iPad, you can access purchased apps on your Apple TV and download it from there without having to search for it. I'm testing it on Apple TV 4K and from what I see, the series and movies that I watch through 4K deco are seen in HD
For Apple TV 3 generation will there be an update with the Movistar App?

Can you view football channels, like on iphone? or are they inaccessible as if you were using a smart TV?

In my case, as I am a subscriber to the SAT (and I do not have Fusion), I cannot watch the football channels, I do not know if having Fusión contracted allows me to see them or not.
