Apple introduced CarPlay in 2014, a technology that allows us to connect our iPhone to the vehicle's multimedia system and control it through the vehicle's controls or through its touch screen, as long as the vehicle have a touch screen to control the media center.
From the date, little by little, the applications that make the most sense use them in the vehicle, such as Spotify and Overcast and others have been updated to be compatible with this technology, but today, the number of applications is still very small, something that should begin to change. At the moment, the last application that has been updated to be compatible with CarPlay is Tidal.

We all know Tidal, not only as the highest quality streaming music service, but also because of one of the company's "unofficial representatives", Kanye West, with his continual leg outs criticizing Apple on the one hand, Spotify on the other while Tidal is more of the same whatever it says.
The compatibility with CarPlay comes from the hand of the latest update of the application, an application that incidentally takes advantage of to be compatible with the new screen format of the iPhone X and adding a dark theme, ideal for all those devices with an OLED screen, such as the iPhone X.
The Tidal version for CarPlay offers us access to our favorite collections that we have stored on the device as albums, playlists or songs, without having to search through the application. In future updates, a new section called Explore will be added, in which we will be able to find new groups according to our tastes, as well as podcast, a category where Spotify also entered but which ended up being dismissed due to the little success it had.
